Smash hit comedy ‘Defending The Cavemen’ is back

Rob Becker’s humorous – and informative – comedy about the differences between the sexes continues its phenomenal run at the Theatre On The Bay until August 3.
Alan Committie helms the show, and goes about energetically and with great aplomb defending the sometimes primitive behaviour of the modern-day Caveman.
The comedy hit has had numerous runs over the years, enjoying unprecedented success with many runs selling out.
Committie has continued the success of the franchise after Tim Plewman stepped down after years of entertaining audiences.

Committie is perhaps best known for his one man shows like ‘TV Or Not TV’, ‘One Man One Remote’ and ‘Stresssed for Success’, as well as for his comedic alter ego Johan van der Walt, a brash security gaurds sometimes doubling as a film critic.
The comedian has also had success as a serious acting, winning a Fleur Du Cap award for Best Actor in 2008 for his role in ‘Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead’.
