The Restaurant at Grande Provence in Franschhoek will provide diners with two French inspired menu options over the Bastille weekend, July 12 to 14. On Saturday and Sunday for lunch, guests may indulge in a traditional French café style menu including French classics like Moules marinière avec le pain Français et de la fume du vin – Creamy mussels with French loaf and wine smoke (R65/R120) and Cassoulet de cochon de lait et de bœuf Karan – Cassoulet of suckling pig and Karan beef (R125).
In the evenings guests can look forward to a French fine dining experience of seven courses for only R450 created by renowned Executive Chef, Darren Badenhorst.
“I have formulated the menus to offer a full experience of what is traditionally available in both a formal fine dining setting as well as the classic ‘street side’ foods of hearty, warm, fresh and interactive foods,” says Badenhorst. “Guests can experience a culinary adventure of France in Franschhoek over this festive weekend.”
