Remember when the Gladiators used to light up our TV screens? Well, prepare for the next generation of daring and physically capable men and women as they fight to become today’s Trojan Warriors.
A new series of ‘Trojan Warriors 2013’ is being filmed for television and the battle will be going down at GrandWest Grand Arena on Saturday and Sunday, June 29 and 30.
The live action is set against the backdrop of the ancient city of Troy, the time of immortal gods and the Trojan War, a war that was waged against the city of Troy by the Greeks.
Mortals start on the same level and fight their way up each level by participating in a variety of games. On their way up they will accumulate points which will get them to the next stage, being immortal status, and finally to the ultimate title, that of Trojan Warrior.
Both the filming sessions of ‘Trojan Warriors’ and the television series itself will provide for great family entertainment and thrill action fans.
The ‘Teen Trojan Warrior’ live show will take place from 10am, while the Trojan Warrior sessions will begin at 6pm each evening.
So, get your front row seat to the action where you will hear every groan and scream of encouragement and you don’t even have to strain a muscle doing so.
* Tickets are available from Computicket at R50 each.
