The Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC) is inviting the public to join in its birthday celebrations on Saturday June 29.
“The Open Day will provide an opportunity for the public to view the meetings and events facilities at the centre and gain deeper insight into what it takes to pull off a world class event” says, Chief Executive Officer, Rashid Toefy.
A series of exciting activities are planned, which includes site tours of the various venues, speciality venue setups and an opportunity to sample the centre’s cuisine offerings. In addition the centre’s service providers, who offer an array of services ranging from decor, audio visual and Information Technology to stand building solutions, will also be showcasing the latest technology and trends in the meetings and events industry.
Fun family entertainment activities are planned, with various prizes up for grabs. The centre’s Sous Pastry Chef, Simone Zandberg will be designing a special birthday cake on the day, which visitors can indulge in.
* The CTICC Open Day will be held from 9am to 1pm and complimentary parking will be available.
