Showbiz couple takes to KBT stage with high-octane moves

Follow Spot Productions, the creators of the audience hit shows ‘Big BoysDon’t Dance’ and ‘Face The Music’ (SA’s original live music game show) are showcasing their new production ‘Exposed’ at Kalk Bay Theatre from until April 20 at 8.30pm nightly.

Husband and wife team, Ash Searle and Vanessa Harris deliver well-known acts with a twist and lashings of high-octane energy strung together with engaging comedic banter. They expose their personal truths about working in the performance industry as a married couple. Audiences are in for an entertaining evening of dynamic dance lifts and tricks, imaginative close harmonies and theatrical comedy.
Searle and Harris have been in the performing arts industry for over 10 years, but in truth both started to act up from the tender age of three.

They have graced the stages around the world in productions such as ‘Chicago’, ‘We Will Rock You’, ‘Buddy Holly’, ‘Rocky Horror Show’, ‘Thoroughly Modern Millie’, ‘Peter Pan’, ‘African Footprint’ and more.

They are also well known for their on-screen appearances, Harris as the leading lady in the Bill Flynn and Paul Slabolepszy comedy vehicle ‘Running Riot’ and Searle as one of SA’s top three favourites in ‘So You Think You Can Dance’. The two performers caught each other’s eyes at the auditions for ‘We Will Rock You’, and in mere moments it was clear the leading roles had been cast in their real life drama.
