The Paddocks has had a revamp recently and what used to be a boring, stop-only-for-essentials mall is now a hive of activity.
Thanks to new additions like Clicks, Ocean Basket and Vida Coffee Shop the Milnerton mall has suddenly become a cool place to see and be seen.
But there was one store that has remained a steady success for the entire nine years they have been open. That would be sunglasses specialists Zita.
MyCiTi user Hailey Mantwill selected Zita as her favourite shop along the rapid transport system’s route, because of the excellent customer service and genuine name brand sunglasses at rock bottom prices.
Fashionista Hailey also regularly pops in for a skim through their watches, handbags and jewellery.
“Anyone who has ever visited Zita will know their service is the best,” she says.
“You always get something special here.”
No one knows that better than Noxolo Makopela who, although living in the Eastern Cape, always pops into the shop for something special.
“I bought this Pierre Cardin watch here and I have never seen anyone else with it on before. That’s why I always come here during my holidays,” she says.
Manageress Shanon Venketsamy says the MyCiti has expanded their clientele base thanks to the convenience of the Paddocks stop right outside the mall.
“I have customers phone me up and take the bus here,” she says.
Check out Zita’s current specials on Armani sunglasses for 40% off and the iconic Ray Ban aviators are a snip at only R1480 for all styles.
