Winter is fast approaching and so are school holidays, but the good news is that you still have time to maximise on your summer memories with City Sightseeing.
City Sightseeing run the unmistakable red double-decker sightseeing buses and one of the tours on offer that remains a firm family favourite is the Blue Mini Peninsula Tour.

Another two fun activities that should be grabbed whilst the weather is good are the City Sightseeing Canal Cruise, which offers a great nautical adventure for the entire family and the Night Tour, which runs until May 6.

The City Sightseeing canal cruise boats run until 7pm – with a boat departing every twenty minutes from 9am and then every half hour from 5pm – offering a wonderful sunset cruise opportunity for R30 per adult and R10 per child.

The Night Tour, which from March 15 will be departing from the V&A Waterfront at 5.30pm, (arrive at 5pm to ensure you don’t miss out) offers a one-of-a-kind experience. Taking you past all the best night attractions, the bus stops at Signal Hill to watch the sun set over the Atlantic Ocean – so remember to bring along a picnic basket with snacks and sundowners.

The good news is that if you purchase a two-day City Sightseeing ticket then over two consecutive days you will be able to experience the Blue Mini Peninsula Tour, the Red City Tour (another of City Sightseeing’s offerings) and will also get the Canal Cruise and Night Tour included for free.
The 2-Day Ticket – which is valued at R430 – is available for only R250 for adults.  And if you purchase it online you pay R220 – it truly is the best way to see Cape Town in two days. (Kids 5 – 15 pay R150 and kids under 5 are free)

* Due to the Two Oceans Marathon the Blue Mini Peninsula tour will not run on March 30. On March 29  (Good Friday) the Wine Tour Bus will not be running but it is business as usual for the Blue Mini Peninsula tour on this day.
