The Owl and the Pussycat
This funny, poignant and thought-provoking romantic comedy is set in a San Francisco loft apartment. Sheldon Cross and Jana Botha play the two characters – an earnest young writer Felix (the Owl) and a scatty aspiring “model and actress†Doris (the Pussycat). Felix has his sensitivities continually tested by Doris, with her misguided aspirations and bawdiness. She constantly pushes the boundaries of their unlikely relationship

Chester Missing Roadshow
Chester Missing, of e.tv’s Late Night News with Loyiso Gola, and South Africa’s most famous, politically contentious puppet, has embarked on a blazing national roadshow. Unfortunately for him, he is being accompanied by his annoying ventriloquist, Conrad Koch, and Conrad’s puppet sidekicks: Hilary, the outrageous diva ostrich, and Ronnie, the lunatic green monster. Chester wants to be the star, but these other fools keep getting in the way!

Kaapse Stories
This delightful musical revue celebrates the joyful, resilient spirit of the colourful people who populate the city that lies at the foot of Table Mountain. Couched in the recent history of the Cape, “Kaapse Stories” deftly relates stories of Cape Town and her people, their struggles, victories and personalities, all with a hefty dose of comedy. With classic songs made famous by artists such as Miriam Makeba, Freddy Mercury and even Shakira (with the “World Cup” song), there is something for everyone. The opera part of the evening is stupefying, but, hush, we don’t want to reveal any more. Spellbound best describes what audiences are, when they discover the magical voices and soaring talent on display in this unique, local production.
