China Town celebrates the Year Of The Snake

This weekend the Chinese celebrate their New Year, which this year is represented by the Snake. To celebrate, all shops at China Town will be running specials and visitors will be able to find even better prices and bargains than usual.

The centres will be closed on Monday and Tuesday, February 11 and 12, so that the shopkeepers can enjoy the New Year celebrations, but the specials will be running for the entire month of February.
The three China Town centres in Parow, Sable Square and Ottery, with a combined tenancy of over 160 shops, have become well established and popular shopping nodes in Cape Town.
In the current economic climate, shoppers look for value, variety and quality, all of which can be found in abundance at the three centres.

Each centre offers at least 45 different shops with a large free parking area. There is also a food court in each centre and all of the Centres are linked to major national tenants so that after enjoying shopping in China Town, you can do your monthly grocery shop, or eat at a popular restaurant with the kids.

Look out for China Town on Facebook and stay up to date on news of the retailer. You can also take part in their weekly competition where R200 in shopping vouchers are given away each week.
Watch the press for dates when the spectacular Chinese Blessing Ceremony takes place towards the end of February.
