The warmer weather has arrived and not only has it heralded earlier sunrises and longer days but it also brings with it the re-opening of the City Sightseeing Night Tour – the only one of its kind in South Africa and an experience not to be missed.
Cape Town is beautiful by day, and absolutely magical on a warm summers night, as the stars light your way through the Mother City with Table Mountain lit up as a spectacular back drop.
The Night Tour, running until May 6, starts at the V&A Waterfront (Stop 1), with the bus departing at 6pm until March 14, when it will then begin departing a bit earlier at 5.30pm (until May 6). Taking sightseers past all the best night attractions during the three hours of the tour, as well as the festive Christmas lights in Adderley street over the Christmas season (a spectacular site for the entire family) the bus stops at Signal Hill to watch the sun set over the Atlantic Ocean – so remember to bring along a picnic basket with snacks and sundowners.
The Night Tour operates every day, except from December 28 until January 2.
