Summer may have arrived late in Cape Town but that hasn’t stopped anyone from enjoying what the Mother City has to offer. It’s not often that there are four events happening on the same evening in Cape Town, with big name celebs being flown in from Johannesburg.
The Film & Event Media Wrap Party, an industry networking event for producers and suppliers, was held on location at Roodebloem Studios for the second year running with theme of a ‘fiesta’.
It was an incredible event with two specially designed photo booth sets by Helena Blok and Tracey Rollino, dance theatre performances, a food hall as well as lighting and special effect displays.
That wasn’t the only big event happening. The Sunglass Hut Out of The Box party also took place on that night. The event itself was amazing and upon arrival all guests were given a R1000 gift card that could be used to purchase a pair of shades at the Sunglass Hut Pop-up Shop, which is currently located in the V&A Waterfront, just next to the Cape Town Aquarium. Media, celebrities, VIPs and incredibly sexy and fashionable people celebrated fashion and glamour with the entertainment for the evening featuring the likes of Janez Vermeiren as the MC and the talented Toya Delazy.
Legacy Lifestyle, the rewards programme without boundaries, celebrated in style at the Grand Café in Cape Town.
The event showcased the unique rewards programme and bid a big farewell to a very successful 2012, with a sneak peak at the programme’s 2013 offerings. The evening saw brand partners, top lifestyle members and various celebrities including Ryk Neethling; Bailey Schneider, Keegan Daniel; Jeannie D, Tanya Van Graan, and Dineo Moeketsi party in style to top SA band Goldfish. Partner Ice Tropez made sure all guests were refreshed.
The highlight of the evening was the 5th Cape Town Summer Party, which was proudly hosted by The Next 48hOURS, Goodhope FM and Tsogo Sun The Cullinan.
MC for the evening was Leigh-Anne Williams from Good Hope FM, with many of the presenters joining in on the summer fun, including Sean O, Tarryn K, Guy McDonald and Tracey Lange. The food was amazing with proudly South African fare, including bunny chow. The entertainment for the evening was Lucy Tops and Lloyd Jansen. It was the perfect way to welcome summer and the perfect way to end off a very busy and glitzy evening in
