Kaapse Stories
This delightful musical revue celebrates the joyful, resilient spirit of the colourful people who populate the city that lies at the foot of Table Mountain. Couched in the recent history of the Cape, “Kaapse Stories” deftly relates stories of Cape Town and her people, their struggles, victories and personalities, all with a hefty dose of comedy. With classic songs made famous by artists such as Miriam Makeba, Freddy Mercury and even Shakira (with the “World Cup” song), there is something for everyone. The opera part of the evening is stupefying, but, hush, we don’t want to reveal any more. Spellbound best describes what audiences are, when they discover the magical voices and soaring talent on display in this unique, local production.

Kat & The Kings
For the second time this year, the smash hit musical will play in the heart of the area that inspired its setting. Meet the voice behind the microphone. Clarence Ford’s popular Sunday evening radio show on Heart 104.9 goes LIVE on stage at the Baxter.  Alistair Izobell, along with new young talent and an amazing six-piece band, will perform Radio Classics chosen by Clarence.
