Comics Against Cancer
As it turns out, laughter isn’t the best medicine: its money. Corne and Twakkie (Louw Venter and Rob van Vuuren), Stuart Taylor, Siv Ngesi, Tracey Klaas, Oliver Booth, Martin Davis and Brendan Murray will be there in person to make you laugh so hard it falls out your pockets. Proceeds from ticket sales will be donated by Youngblood Arts & Culture Development to the Friends of Rustum August (FORA) to pay for his lung operation but magnanimous individuals and companies are encouraged to dig deep and contribute to the ongoing lifesaving treatment for Rustum.

Wine tasting at Haute Cabrière
Saturday Cellarmaster Tastings are edgy, to say the least; and that’s not just because they end with a lesson in French cavalry sabrage – the method of opening bottles of wine with a sword. The start and the middle of the tasting-cum-cellar tour are every bit as extraordinary as the dramatic finale.
