City Hall Sessions now a ‘minifest’ of local music

City Hall Sessions will bring the heat to Cape Town’s winter during July at the Cape Town City Hall. The groundbreaking cross-genre concerts have evolved into a three-day ‘minifest’ of music. From jazz on Thursday July 5 at 7.30pm (featuring Silent Revolution Music, Errol Dyers, Khaya Mahlangu, Zolani Mahola and Morris Goldberg ) to an urban club line-up on Friday July 6 for 8pm of Closet Snare, starring Inge Beckmann, EJ von Lyrik, Bokani Dyer and performances by Joe Nina and MXO.

On Saturday, City Hall Sessions will present guitar icon Madala Kunene and a rare Cape Town performance by Caiphus Semenya.

* Tickets prices range from R 40 to R 150, including substantial discounts for students.
