Mi Casa joins bumper KDay line-up

New house phenomenon Mi Casa has been added to 94.5 Kfm’s KDay line-up on Saturday March 31. The group is set to bring a new dynamism to the already packed and exciting line-up. Mi Casa have been nominated for five SAMA’s including: Album of the Year; Best Dance Album; Group of the year, Newcomer of the year and Record of the year.

Most well known for their single ‘These Streets’, the upbeat tempo of the group gets audiences forgetting inhibitions and dancing enthusiastically along to their music. The group consists of DJ/producer Dr Duda, guitarist and singer J’Something and trumpet player Mo-T.

“It’s gonna be incredible. We are so blessed to be part of the line-up. We can’t wait to be there. Cape Town you know we love you, we got so much love for you guys,” says J’Something. “We can’t wait to get on that stage and rock with everybody. We hope you come out in numbers. It’s gonna be a crazy day, man.”

Set on the beautiful Val de Vie Wine Estate in Paarl, KDay is set to be a day of rocking music combined with a magnificent setting. Every year festival goers have been high in spirits as they party to the best line-up of local South African music.

Gates open at 11am and the first act begins at 1pmThere will be a children’s play area as well as a hospitality area with various food and drink vendors, as well as a beer tent. Ample secure parking is available for free on the estate.
Please note that no alcohol, glass bottles, braais/barbecues or open flames will be allowed into the venue.The best way to get to the venue is via the N1 towards Paarl, take exit 59 (just over the Berg River). Roadworks are on the go from the Stellenbosch side of the R301 so it’s recommended to take the N1 instead.
