Pepper Club Hotel yesterday celebrated its 2nd anniversary by throwing a 1920s themed birthday party in their 20th floor Penthouse to thank those who have supported the hotel over the past two years. The guest list included industry tour operators, Cape Town-based film production companies, surrounding neighbours and a mix of local celebrities, such as Colin Moss and Elana Afrika.
Speaking at the event, Nick Seewer, CEO of Pepper Club Hotel, said that they are extremely proud of how the brand has established itself among the region’s top hotels within the space of only two years.
“The decision to open the hotel was to cater for the increasing amount of travellers visiting the region and to address the need for a luxury hotel in the heart of Cape Town. The hotel has gone from strength to strength since opening in 2010, and this summer season has proven to be a turnaround for the hotel, as well as the hospitality industry. We have experienced consistently good occupancy figures in 2012 to date and we don’t see it slowing down any time soon.
“Having only opened our doors in March 2010, Pepper Club Hotel has since been firmly established as an iconic hotel in Cape Town with a large and loyal following. We aim to maintain this following, as well as expand our support, locally and internationally,” concludes Seewer.
Keeping with the 1920’s theme, guests on the night were entertained by emerging DJ and saxophonist group, Culture Talent and a troupe of swing dancers.
